About This Quote
The V-Day commercial promoting love is problematic. It encourages people to act out of some kind of manufactured sense of obligation, not real feelings. It attempts to manipulate people into spending money that they don’t have on things that they won’t use. I don’t think that Valentine’s Day is necessary for us to show our love for one another. Love can be expressed in many ways without having to buy new things every month.
